These are techniques that I use frequently. They have really helped me, and perhaps one or more of them will help you.

Kubera Mudra
This mudra has been used for centuries and has been proven to work. Do this with both hands at the same time:Place the tips of your thumb, index finger and middle finger together. Bend the fourth and little fingers so they rest in the middle of your hand. It is effective for bringing things you want into your everyday world – like specific information, clear the way to a parking place, finding the item you need to purchase. That’s all very helpful! . . . To Jump Start Your Energy and to Focus Your Mind:
Place your fingers of your right hand on the right side of your collarbone and the fingers of your left hand on the right side of your collarbone. -Move the fingers of both hands toward the U-shaped opening at the top of your breastbone. This is where the knot of a man’s tie goes. –Move your fingers to the bottom of the U -and then move the fingers of your left hand about an inch to the left or the bottom of the U-Shape and the fingers of your right hand about an inch to the right of the bottom of the U-Shape. –Tap or gently massage the area your fingers are now on, do this for 10 to 20 seconds

More Finger Acupressure for Fear & Anger & Exhaustion
There are three easy techniques you can use to relieve these responses.
First: With the thumb and middle finger of one hand, you’re going to hold the middle finger nail of the other hand. Imagine that the nail is divided in half, length-wise. Hold the base of the nail on the half of the nail that is closest to the thumb. You can press fairly firmly. Breathe slowly in and out as you do this .. more on Judy Regan's blog

Finger Acupressure
The thumb is associated with your willpower and the middle finger governs your mental and emotional well-being. There is an acupressure technique that uses these fingers to help keep you calm. I’ve used it quite often, especially when speaking in front of people I’m not familiar with or when I want a solution to a particularly upsetting situation.

To Relieve Stress, Boost Your Immune System and Help Increase Your Energy:
Place the fingers of one hand (either hand) just under the U-shaped opening at the center of your collarbone; this is where the knot of a man’s tie is.
–Tap the area gently for about 20 seconds.

A great preparation for meditation is to practice alternate nostril breathing for a minute or two.

1) Sit up straight with your feet flat on the floor or stand erect with your spine straight.
2) Begin with the nostril that is on the same side as your handedness. For instance if you are right handed, begin on your right nostril.
3) If you are beginning on the right side:
-Place you right index finger along the side of your right nostril and gently hold the nostril closed.
-Breathe in and out deeply and gently through the left nostril.
4) For your next breath: -Place your left index finger along the side of your left nostril and gently hold the nostril closed.
-Breathe in and out deeply and gently once through the left nostril.
5) Continue alternating nostrils for a minute or two and then begin your meditation or visualization process.

*Keep your breathing rhythmic.
